Mold Sense of Place Feasibility Study

Working as an Associate Consultant with Heritage Initiatives Limited, Alan Brown developed a “Sense of Place” for Mold, a Town of circa 10,000 residents in North East Wales.

By a process of consultation and collaboration, the Sense of Place Study helped to identify new initiatives and attractions, suggested new creative measures to increase footfall and retail spend and helped local people to appreciate, enjoy and protect their heritage and green-space assets.

In strategic terms the Sense of Place study assisted Mold in enhancing its local and regional role and demonstrated that it is worthy of public and private sector investment.

The Mold Steering group included representatives from the Town Council, Cittaslow Mold, Cadwyn Clwyd and Flintshire County Council.

“BP D’Arcy Development has made a radical and long lasting difference to the local community in Neath by regenerating industry and more importantly, encouraging self sufficiency”.
